Indian tea (chai) indische Gewürz Tee mit Milch

Chai is a very famous Indian hot drink. Most of my German friends like it a lot. To make Chai, first and foremost step is to decide how many cup tea you want to make. Obviously you can dilute it, but it is always better to consider the quantity beforehand.
Ingredients for two cup tea:

1 cup water
1 cup milk
Some flavors like grated ginger, tea masala, cardamom, Tulsi or fresh Basilikum
1 Tsp Chai patti /  Black tea powder / schwarztee
1 Tsp sugar (as per taste)
Before explaining the method, I want to mention that I use tea more as a medicine for cold. In that case according to Ayurveda, Ginger and Basil are the good choices as flavors because they are `hot`by nature. If you live in Hot climate like India, I would  say,  you must use cardamom or mint leaves as flavor because of their  ´cold´nature.  In fact I drank tea with fennel and cardamom seeds too. So actually it is just a matter of choice what to use. Never use Lemon as flavor because it will make curdled tea.
Method:
First boil water and add the herbs, it will enhance the flavor and prevent curdling of milk due to ginger. Then add tea powder, at last add milk and  sugar. To mix sweetner just make it without sugar and add that afterwards. Give it a nice boil and filter it then enjoy it hot.

Aloo bada recipe

Aloo bada or aloo bonda is a popular north Indian fried snack.
Ingredients
For filling:
boiled potatoes                               200g
onion                                                   1 medium

To make the filling, mesh the potatoes and keep aside. Then heat oil in a pan and add cumin mustard and fennel seeds and let them crackle. Then add ginger turmeric and onion to it and let it cook a bit. Now add meshed potatoes, salt and peanut to it. Let it cool and make some balls out of it. The balls need not to be perfect J
For Gram flour paste:
Gram flour (corn flour or even normal flour can be used)100g
Baking powder                                1 pinch
Ajwain or lowage seeds                              ½ tsp
Salt                                                       per taste
Mix everything and add water and make a thick smooth paste. (you can use egg beater for making lumps free  paste)

When both of the above steps are complete, Heat oil to fry bada. Dip the balls into the gramflour paste and fry them. Serve it hot and enjoy!!!

DIY Natural Blackhead Remover

How can we get rid of blackhead’s without having to spend a lot of money on expensive treatments?!

Easy: making your very own DIY natural blackhead remover.

Very easy! you will only need three ingredients: one egg white, half tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of cinnamon. Put the egg white into a bowl. Mix / beat the egg white until it becomes frothy. Add also the honey and cinnamon. Mix all “ingredients” together very well. Clean your face with water. Smear the blackhead mixture on your fresh clean face. Let the mixture dry for three minutes. After the mixture is dry clean it of from your face using a clean cloth. Now you have a perfectly clean face with no blackhead’s on.

For another natural idea to remove blackhead’s you will need: half of lemon mixed with 4-5 drops of honey. Place the mixture and rub the affected area. Leave the lemon and honey on for 5-7 minutes. Rinse very well with cold water.  Enjoy!!!
